Privacy policy
CARTE keeps only what it needs to make your card, deliver it and keep your profile working. We never sell your information.
Who we are
- CARTE makes metal and bamboo NFC business cards in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. For anything about your information, email concierge@cartebitte.com.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, email, phone or Telegram, delivery address, the items you choose, the text you want engraved and any notes you add.
- When you pay: whether your payment arrived, the amount and a payment reference. Payments are handled by ABA Bank (ABA PayWay and KHQR). We never see or store your card number or banking login.
- Your profile page: the details you choose to show, such as your name, title, company, phone, email, website, LinkedIn and a short bio. This page is public by design, because it is what people see when they tap your card. You decide what is on it.
- When you contact us: what you send through our forms or by email.
- Technical information: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and browser details to keep the site fast and secure and to stop abuse. On the public website, and only if you agree in the cookie panel, we use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they use. Analytics does not run on profile pages, member accounts or Studio.
Cookies
- Essential: a small amount of storage the site needs to work, such as your shopping bag, checkout and keeping you signed in. These are always on.
- Analytics (optional): Google Analytics, only if you choose Accept in the cookie panel. Until you agree, it doesn't load at all.
- We do not use advertising cookies, and we never sell your information.
- Your choice is saved in your browser for 12 months. You can change it at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
How we use it
- To make and deliver your order, contact you about it and send you order emails.
- To run your profile page and keep your card working.
- To answer your questions and give you support.
- To keep the service secure and prevent fraud.
Who we share it with
- Only the services we need to run CARTE: ABA Bank for payments, the courier who delivers your order (name, phone and address), Cloudflare for hosting, our email provider for order emails, and Google Analytics for visit statistics.
- We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
How long we keep it
- Order records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting and to support your card.
- Your profile stays online until you or your concierge switch it off or delete it.
Your choices
- You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email concierge@cartebitte.com and we will reply as quickly as we can.
- You can change or hide anything on your profile page at any time.
Changes
- If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date below.
